AIPIO has a range of memberships to suit Intelligence Practitioners and students. Prior to applying for any AIPIO membership, prospective members must read the AIPIO Code of Ethics.

How exactly do I become a member?

Membership of the Institute shall be by online application. Once you have narrowed down the type of membership you would like to apply to, you will be asked to fill up a form online after which it will be carefully be examined by the organization president. Who will approve the applications? Is my information safe?

Your applications are reviewed and approved by our membership team.

Will my membership fee be refunded for non-acceptance?

If your membership application is not approved, any membership fees paid (less administration fee) will be refunded in full. If you are offered a different membership class, any difference in fee will be refunded to you.

What if I don’t receive a membership confirmation?

If you have not received a confirmation within 3 working days of submitting your application, please email Membership@aipio.asn.au.

What is a joining fee?

To uphold the integrity of our membership, AIPIO thoroughly reviews each application against eligibility criteria. An administration fee is applied to new applications to support this process.
