Rob Harrison
Robert has been an AIPIO member since 2004, enjoying multiple AIPIO National conferences, NSW events and many virtually forums over many years. Robert’s intelligence career began in 2004 when he joined the NSW Fair Trading intelligence team, complementing his investigative and Tribunal experience with the agency. The experience provided a broad range of contact with other state and federal government agencies and the private sector, from international programs to local-level activities that worked to provide a fairer and safer marketplace for commerce, traders, and consumers. Robert has enjoyed many studies with tertiary education, which has enhanced his learning and knowledge of intelligence. More recently, Robert moved to the insurance sector to apply his intelligence experience and skills towards fighting fraud.

Hayley Van Loon
Hayley is Deputy CEO of Crime Stoppers International and Managing Partner, Asia Pacific at Harod, a global investigative and intelligence advisory firm. She began her career in the Australian Intelligence Community and has since advised governments, Fortune 500s, and multilaterals on transnational threats, insider risk, and national security strategy. Hayley spent nearly a decade in the US working at the intersection of global security, technology, and intelligence, before returning to Australia in 2023. She serves on several international coalitions—including the World Economic Forum’s Coalition for Digital Safety and the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime—is an ambassador for CI-ISAC Australia, and sits on RMIT’s Cyber Research and Innovation Industry Advisory Board. Hayley is deeply committed to advancing sovereign capability and supporting those on the frontlines of intelligence and law enforcement.

Ernestina Di Marco
Maggie Isic-Dautcehajic
Maggie is a passionate intelligence analyst, and a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers (AIPIO). She has 7 years of experience in law enforcement and values the impact that well-informed, ethical, and thoughtful intelligence can have on decision-making, public safety, and national security. What drives Maggie in this field is the opportunity to uncover insights, make sense of complex information, and contribute to something bigger than herself. Maggie is deeply committed to ongoing professional development and learning, and thrives in environments where collaboration, critical thinking, and integrity are at the core. She loves what she does and is proud to be part of a network of professionals who share a commitment to excellence, innovation, and purpose in the intelligence field.
Glenn Tait
Glenn is a Senior Sergeant with the Queensland Police Service, working in the State Intelligence Group. He has been working in the intelligence field since 1998 involved from station to state level. Part of his career has been working at the Police Academy delivering the Intelligence Training Program corrupting the young minds of future generations of practitioners. He has a strong commitment function across all agencies and disciplines which is demonstrated by his membership with International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA) and AIPIO. The latter, he is the Queensland representative for.
Andre Harrington
Andre is an experienced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professional who has recently pivoted into the security sector. He holds current postgraduate academic qualifications in the fields of Criminology, Cyber Security, and Intelligence Analysis. Andre is an avid practitioner of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and aims to encourage the uptake of structured Intelligence practice in the private sector – particularly in the field of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI). Andre advises that he also practices master tradecraft in the kitchen.
Damien Inglis
Stephen Zidak
Steve serves as an advisory manager for a government consulting company in Australia, working on data analytics, strategy, operational modelling and project management for government agencies. He has been involved in intelligence since 1999 within the US military, federal, state and private sectors. He has led and directed intelligence operations as well as led and managed intelligence analysis teams in both the military, public and private sectors. In between operational and strategic intelligence positions, he devoted part of his career to teaching and mentoring future generations of intelligence professionals in the US.
Teaching intelligence for both undergraduate and graduate applied intelligence programs at Mercyhurst University, Erie, Pennsylvania, Steve developed and taught its first financial intelligence course (AML/ATF), and taught intelligence analysis for the US Department of State’s Anti-Terrorism Assistance program in the Philippines, Serbia and Malaysia. In the private sector, he established a global intelligence capability for the US movie industry, combating intellectual property crime.
In Australia, he served as Director for Analytics and Intelligence at the South Australian government’s Office for Data Analytics, managing several data-related cross-government projects designed to improve data sharing, research capabilities, and inter-agency collaboration. He currently belongs to AIPIO and the Data Management Association (DAMA) Australia.
Rebecca Hammet
Rebecca is a dedicated Principal Intelligence Manager at WorkSafe Victoria and a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers (AIPIO). She brings more than 16 years of law enforcement experience, having served across multiple areas of Victoria Police in tactical and strategic intelligence roles, including organised crime, tasking and coordination, and signals intelligence.
In 2022, Rebecca was recognised for her professional excellence, receiving the Frank Scammell Intelligence Practitioner of the Year award. Just over a year ago, she transitioned from policing to the regulatory sector to apply her intelligence expertise in a prevention-focused environment. She is committed to upholding professional intelligence standards and leveraging operational insight and strategic thinking to support informed decision-making and strengthen organisational capability.
The AIPIO is currently seeking expressions of interest from intelligence professionals based in the Tasmania who are interested in becoming an AIPIO Regional Representative.
